This Writer Knew The Law Of Attraction And The Secret All Along!

When life coach Bill Mayer talks about asking the right questions to achieve the life you dream about, the man knows of what he speaks! As a kid, he enjoyed the quintessential, picture perfect life. You know, Americana style. He was a high school honors student and prized athlete. He went home each night to the bosom of a loving and intact family. And like any adolescent, he wrestled with feelings of discontent and teenage angst. Normal, right? Right. What was different about young Bill, though, was the profound direction he took toward finding his own answers.
At the ripe old age of 15, Bill set himself on a mission to figure out what life was all about by studying transcendental meditation. This early exploration of his own personal, defining questions set a precedent for his life’s work, and the rest, as they say, is history. Several decades later, Bill is now a renowned life coach, in-demand public speaker and author of “The Magic in Asking the Right Questions: Create Your Destiny Through Power Thinking”.

Bill’s general philosophy is based on the concept of power thinking. “Power Thinking is taking responsibility for your own thinking and striving to improve the quality of your thoughts by consistently asking yourself empowering questions.” Bill says that it’s these very specific questions that have the power to transform your life. From the questions come the answers that decide the appropriate and necessary actions. Makes sense!
In our discussion, Bill referenced ideals that have become virtual buzzwords since the hit film The Secret started its sweep through our culture. But Bill was addressing the Law of Attraction, Expectations, Correspondence, and Cause and Effect over 10 years ago, when he wrote his book. Those fundamental laws all relate to asking yourself the intentional questions that will bring your daily walk in line with your highest values.
He told an endearing story about working with Oprah as her tennis coach. She flew him out from California to Chicago on a regular basis. Each time he arrived, there was a vase full of fresh roses in the guesthouse for him…hand picked by Oprah herself. Interesting he says, that one of the richest, most successful women in the world, lives her life aware that, “what you put out is what you get back.” That’s the Law of Attraction for you!
