Clothes Airer - How You Can Sing Out With Happiness

Singing always seems to lift my spirits. Even on dark days in winter it seems my happiness soars when I sing out loud.
To begin with I sang in the bath. I sang little snippets of opera pretending to be a watery Paganini or a sexy Madonna. I soon progressed to singing while I did the housework or the dreaded ironing.
It was when I had an eco clothes drying system installed that my singing really took off. As my clothes and home laundry dried naturally my happiness seemed to soar beyond all previous levels. So too did my singing and my feelings of being simply on top of the world.
Maybe using my wall mounted airer on a daily basis helped. Certainly it was always there, dependable, to be pulled out whenever I needed to dry items and folded away on the wall when not in use
Certainly the bathroom resounded to my songs as I often used the multiway retractable washing lines installed over the bath. What a boon that proved to be on those stormy days when not even Tufty (our cat) would venture out of the door. However, the utility room and the back garden benefited the most from my efforts and I soon developed a repertoire of songs in my kitchen singalong.
I guess the natural drying cycle really made my heart sing. Absolutely energy free and every time I put another item on the clothes drying racks I knew I was reducing my carbon footprint.
Oh yes I love to plant trees and save water when brushing my teeth but I draw the line at sharing my bath water but maybe if I could have a full orchestra in my bathroom that could be possible too. Combining my different natural drying racks with washing lines and a portable floor mounted clothes horse I have a complete eco-friendly energy free drying system which gives me more time to sing as I hang the clothes to dry.
