Stress Management - Breathing To Balance The Brain

Posted on April 18, 2008 - Filed Under Self Improvement | Leave a Comment

Do you feel brain overload by mid-morning at your job? Mental stress can easily be triggered by the intensity, concentration and unremitting focus of much professional work. Solving complex problems, negotiating solutions, inventing new products and methods of delivery contribute to stress hour by hour.

Especially if most of your work is mental, you spend a lot of your time “in your head.” You use logic, analysis and reasoning. You use words and mathematics. Add all that mental effort to a sedentary day, plus the conflicts, emotional hassles and stresses of normal work and family life, and you may well find your brain gets fuzzy, foggy and frazzled. You might experience stress tension headaches, or just a sense of pressure in your head.

Energy - Positive Thoughts

Posted on April 16, 2008 - Filed Under Self Improvement | Leave a Comment

Life is full of challenges, constant change and the ebb and flow of energy. Everything emits an energy force, we may not be able to see it or feel it, but it is there. Reminds me of, The Celestine Prophecy, and how they can see and feel the invisible energy from the plants. I am, and always have been, sensitive to other people’s energy. I try to cultivate it, and encourage my children to do the same. I believe it is God talking to us.

Now before we go into our main topic of how to live a richer life by just overcoming procrastination, I have a few important questions for you.

  • Do you often miss deadlines? If so, what would you do about that?
  • Are you someone who tends to get something done or just try to find some “reasons” why you can’t get started?
  • When you can’t finish a project, is there a really valid reason for that?
  • Is finishing a job on time important to you?
  • Do you have plans on how to complete a project when you first got it?

Now, please! I have said this a lot of times and trust me I will keep repeating it until I managed to drill this very important success concept into your mind.

Be Willing To Learn And Look For The Good Out Of Every Situation

I was browsing through the forum at the Asia Internet Academy when I saw that Fabian was recommending to create an additional landing page on top of the advertisements that we are making in order to lower the average cost per clicks. Honestly speaking, I do not know how it can be done to lower the costs by adding landing pages but I am willing to learn and would do it anyway.

Mothers use this Bindrune to protect your children from unwanted negative energies and influences while they are at school.

The existing public school system are playgrounds for negative energies. We are trying to get to outer space but we still have not learned the dangers of our own negative emotions.

Your children need protection from these unwanted negative energies. Nordic hand made bindrunes will do it.

Success Principle - You Have To Market Yourself

Posted on April 6, 2008 - Filed Under Self Improvement | Leave a Comment

A top success principle is you have to be able to market yourself. It doesn’t matter if you own your own business, you’re a politician, or if you’re an employee; the better you are at marketing yourself the quicker your rate of success. This may be a strange concept to you at first, but just realize that marketing is all about establishing your uniqueness in the world, and then being able to communicate your message to the people who find value in what you have to offer. The more unique or special you are the more valuable you are, and success is a natural product of that uniqueness or rarity.

No Ordinary Happiness

From grammar school through high school, teachers periodically made comments on my grade reports such as, “John is a capable student but he will not apply himself.” They were right. I did just enough to get to the next grade. My dad wouldn’t let me quit. Because I was 17 my during entire senior year, I needed parental consent. Though I wasn’t enthusiastic academically, my father still managed to instill a value for education that would surface in my life almost 30 years later.

Amazingly, my anger subsided in less than 10 minutes after what has happened!

It is amazing how did my anger subside so quickly and I would actually have to attribute the fast response of anger subsiding to what I have read from Stephen Covey featured in Your Success Store when he says that:

The Smells Of The Canal Trail

Posted on March 21, 2008 - Filed Under Self Improvement | Leave a Comment

See where the road meets the slope up the canal? My first step into that timber woodland, a narrow trail that snakes south into the heat, places me broadside into a world of smells and odors that perplexes the intellect, invades the senses, and propels me onward to the rest of the trip.

Sometimes I have a walking companion for the 2.5 mile early morning journey and we are still wrapped in the smell of sleep, but our step from road to canal scuffles up a cloud of dust which carries the odor of rain, and we awaken to the trail.
